The links show the ad thumbnails and will appear where ever the addon tag is placed in the Ad Display template. The Interactive Villages Related Listings Addon provides a content box of thumbnail links to ads that are similar to the one on which the visitor is browsing. The Interactive Villages Google Map Search Addon provides a map search capability to geodesic classifieds, auctions and classauctions. Visitors can browse listings posted to a search page with a Google map which shows a marker for each listing. Visitors can input the search parameters similar to the Advanced Search page, and Google "push pins" will populate the map with the search results. When a user clicked on a pin it would show listing title, thumbnail, price and description with a link to the full ad page. This addon allows for different colored map pins to be set up for each category individually. There are up to 7 colors available to use. ^TOP

The Interactive Villages Member Feedback/Rating Addon allows a unified feedback system for both classifieds and auctions. Sellers can rate buyers, and buyers can rate sellers. The admin can configure it so that members can leave feedback for each other based only when a transaction occurs or arbitrarily. Members will have a time period that a user can modify/edit feedback left, and the admin can moderate any feedback rating, comments, turn on/off the rating system and delete previous ratings. This is all located in the Addon control panel for the admin. When enabled the member will see a new link in their My Account control panel. The feedback rating is displayed for each member in their ads as a clickable link.

The Interactive Villages Buy Now Gateway Addon integrates a seller/buyer gateway to allow on-site payments using Paypal for Classifieds, basically allowing for Classifieds sellers to have a "Buy Now" feature. The sellers Paypal account ID as input by the seller for the standard Geodesic seller buyer gateway is used by default. Users who have provided their Paypal account info will be allowed to request on-site payments for their classifieds by selecting the on-site payment option when placing their listings. This system works in a similar way to the default Geodesic on-site payment feature for auctions.

Buyers will be presented with a “Buy Now” button when viewing the listing details for those listings that have chosen the on-site payment option. Once the buyer clicks the Buy Now button he is taken to Paypal to pay for the item, and once the payment is made, the items is marked as sold on the Geodesic system and both seller and buyer receive a system message confirming the transaction. The checkout system provides a simple, yet effective way for your sellers to allow a “Buy Now” function on their classified ads. ^TOP

If you have scammers poaching your Geodesic site, BLOCK THEM with the Block Countries Addon! The Interactive Villages Block Countries Addon allows the site admin to block access to thier Geodesic site by country or IP. The control panel allows selection of individual countries and the admin can set the allow/deny for the selected countries in the Addon Control panel. The site administrator can choose to use a 404, 403 error, or a 301 redirect, or a custom message and or redirection based on configuration choices. This Addon includes the IP2Country addon listed below, so the admin can publish the visitor IP and country flag on any page for those countries which are allowed access. ^TOP

The Interactive Villages Self Upgrade addon allows users to upgrade their “Group” on a geodesic installation. Allowing users to change groups also allows them to change the price plan that their account is attached to. This solves the problem of users being stuck into a particular price plan unless the administrator intervenes. This creates greater opportunity for the site owner and administrators to market upgraded packages to their existing user base. This Addon provides an Admin control panel which lets the Admin configure the User Groups to which members can upgrade and the hierarchy for the upgrade path. ^TOP

The Interactive Villages Ip2Country Version 1.0.4 Addon allows the site admin to publish the IP address and country flag of the site visitor to any page by placing the Addon tag on any page template. The Interactive Villages Calendar Popup Calendar Addon will pop up a mini month calendar to allow a user to select a day/month/year graphically from the popup window. Once they select the date, the calendar popup automatically closes and if they click the field, it will re-open to select a new date. This addon is implemented by assigning the calendar function to any of the Optional Fields on the Listing Setup>Fields to Use control panel. This will allow users to access the calendar popup both when placing a listing and when editing their listings.

The Interactive Villages SEO MetaTag Addon helps your Geodesic Classifieds or Auction site get listings better indexed with higher rankings with the popular search engines like Google, MSN and Yahoo! For each ad placed on your Geodesic site, the MetaTag Addon adds the text from the ad description into the Description metatag and the title to the Keyword metatag of each ad page for live ads on your Geodesic site. This addon allows you to add Extra Pages to your Geodesic application, beyond the default 20 pages provided in Pages Management>Pages>Extra Pages. The extra pages are created with arbitrarily high ID's within the database so that it should not cause problems with future upgrades. ^TOP

The Interactive Villages Dropdown Category Selector will allow sellers to use an AJAX-style dropdown selector to pick the categories for placing an ad in the Place Ad form. Rather than having to "drill down" into multiple subcategories, this tool lets users pick the main category, then a dropdown for subcategories will appear automagically until a terminal category is selected. We now have an ACL plugin for this Addon which provide Acess Control List functionality to let the admin limit which categories that the members of any user group can place ads. The control panel lets the Geo Admin input the category numbers for the categories to block. Blocking is implemented on a per-user group basis.

The Geodesic Image Optimization Module provides Admin ability to automatically have images uploaded by sellers be resized 'on the fly' and add a watermark to each image. Controls include destination image size, watermark density, image quality and watermark position. When the seller uploads their images each image will be automatically compressed and watermarked with the image you specify. The advantage for you is that the size of the directory holding the product images being stored on your server will be drastically reduced, and watermarking will protect the images from being linked to other websites since it contains your branding! This helps to keep your server traffic lower.
This addon is compatible with the new flash image upload system provided by Geodesic. ^TOP

The Interactive Villages File Uploader Addon allows the site admin to provide the ability for members to upload video, document or other file types into their Geodesic ads. Files can be uploaded to both auction or classified ads. So if you want to allow your members to upload videos, PDF, Word, Excel or any other file type for access on their ads, this Addon is for you!

Admin has control over the files extension and MIME type that can be uploaded, via the Addon control panel, as well as the ability to embed videos into the ad display or just force file download to the visitor's desktop. An Optional Field is utilized for use on the client-side Place Ad form to enable the uploading. ^TOP

The Geodesic Buffer Plus is the both the Email Buffer and the Flood Control Addon bundled into one installation. If you are looking for the ultimate safeguard to protect your members from spammers, this is it! The Geodesic Email Buffer and Flood Control provides Admin ability to stop spammers by quarantine, preview and approve/delete messages sent to sellers via the Geodesic Contact Seller form. The admin can also set the amount of time that a visitor must wait before contacting another seller. This tool also allows the Admin to add the sender's IP to the Ban IP list in the Enterprise version.

The script includes a management page that will:
1. Quarantine all messages sent from the Contact Seller form
2. Allow you to view the message content via a popup window and shows sender IP address, time sent, From address, To address, subject and message
3. Editing tools include Approve, Ban IP, Delete Message
4. Select which messaging system to quarantine: Contact Seller, Tell A Friend.
5. Turn Buffer On/Off, as well as set a time limit that unreviewed messages will be forwarded without review. This feature is useful if you cannot get to the admin page for a specific period of time and don't want to hold-up your seller's inquiries.
